Miss Rose Concealer Review

Welcome back to the blog. Having the foundation review out of the way now, I decided to further complete reviewing other products of miss rose that I own, one of which includes the miss rose concealer. I thought this would be the perfect product to review as it comes next in line with the foundation when talking about makeup products for the face. This blog will be a detailed review on a concealer that I bought after I saw the Pakistani instagrammer @kiki_13th use it. I have fallen in love with it since. I kid you not, I haven’t found a better concealer still under this price range. The weather all over Pakistan has been varying, sometimes warm, sometimes cold. Karachi especially, having the most unpredictable weather. I’m pretty sure all of you will love wearing this product all seasons.

Miss Rose Concealer Shades

Starting of with the brand. It is produced by Miss Rose- Proffesional Makeup and is named “Miss Rose Liquid Concealer”.
Here are a few claims of the concealer that the brand clearly mentions. The product is claimed to be oil free and water proof as it says on the packaging and the website mentions it being an oil-control concealer that provides a natural and brightening finish. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the products composition anywhere, if anyone reading this comes across a source where the compositions are mentioned do let me know down in the comments section.

Pricing, packaging and details:
The concealer retails at 450 pakistani rupees on the official website but again can be bought at a much lower price from local shops or fb/instagram pages. It has a liquid consistency but is not very runny and comes in a sleek plastic bottled packaging and consists of 7 ml of product. The bottle comes with a doe foot applicator that is not very thick and helps apply the perfect amount of concealer required. The closing end of the applicator is attached to a black cap for the bottle.

Shade Range:
What I personally love about this concealer is that it feels like it is made for us olive-brown skinned Asians, having yellow undertones! So the concealer comes in 6 different shades varying from ivory 6, light, beige 2, beige 3, beige 4, beige 6. I bought the concealer in 2 shades, beige 2 and beige 6. I was so happy to have bought the two shades. Beige 6 proved to be a perfect product for covering up my dark circles and pigmentation where ever I needed color correcting, and there have been days where I have applied just this specific shade and gone to work (mostly in summers, when you don’t feel like caking your face with too much product, because you love your skin). So the shade beige 2 is one to two tones lighter than my actual skin tone and therefore I use it on days when I feel like going all out with my makeup, usually at parties or weddings.

Wearing and coverage:
The concealer can be applied to the face with both a beauty sponge or a brush. I personally prefer using a sponge or a small flat brush because it’s easier to apply product around my face, especially under my eyes without caking on too much product that will later cause creasing under the eye. (TIP: always make sure you’re looking up while applying concealer under your eyes to avoid creasing, and don’t forget to set your under-eyes with powder. Remember to look keep looking up!) to avoid getting cakey later on. Remember, a little goes a long way for this concealer, I use one dip from the applicator for the entire face on a regular basis.
The concealer is surely medium-full coverage and it definitely color corrects pigmentation to a high extent but feels a little tacky on the face if not set with powder. This concealer also claims to be good for all skin types. My skin is usually combination and I tend to sweat alot on my face but I kid you not, this concealer lasts a long time with a few touch ups every now and then.

I used this concealer to hide my wax burns when going to a family picnic and nobody noticed anything on my face until I washed my makeup off, how great does that sound!? It lasts easily for 3-4 hours without touch ups, then starts to crease a little, that can be saved by dabbing a little face powder and viola. Great quality product or the price we’re paying I’d say. A total recommend.
